William Henry Thomas PARTINGTON, (1855 -1940):
Partington was an early New Zealand photographer who is particularly well known for his luminescent portraits of Wanganui Maori.

Trade cards are the forerunner to today's business card. Trade cards were used in the late 17th century and early 18th century. By the late 18th and early 19th centuries, these trade cards began to look more like the business card of today.
